How to rebuild public trust in health agencies?
This project aimed to rebrand for the health agency. Over two decades, the agency has been in "response mode", facing fragmented communication and coordination challenges, particularly during COVID-19. Our goal was to enhance trust and collaboration through external communications with partners and audiences during crises, building a sustainable framework for effective information dissemination.
Discovery (Week 1)
Initial project understanding and kickoff.
Define KPIs (Week 2)
Established key performance indicators for success.
Exploration (Week 3-5)
Conducted in-depth research and initial ideation.
Conceptualization (Week 6-7)
Focused on refining concepts based on early findings.
Refinement (Week 8-10)
Iterated on designs and prepared final deliverables.
Comprehensive research methodology
Our research phase involved both quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather a holistic understanding of public perception and communication challenges.
Public survey
A large-scale survey targeted the general public to identify preferred information sources, trusted social media, and engaging content. We used varied question types and Maze for participant recruitment and data analysis.

Interviews
We interviewed public health experts to gain qualitative data on building trust, emphasizing peer-delivered messages and the high credibility of individual healthcare providers.
Government survey
We surveyed government officials on communication pathways, barriers, and trends, using diverse question formats and AI follow-up feature for deeper insights.

Collaborative Brainstorming Phase
Our ideation phase involved brainstorming and developing a range of concepts aimed at addressing identified communication gaps and enhancing public trust. This phase was collaborative, drawing on diverse perspectives to generate innovative solutions.

Design and iteration process
The design phase was characterized by iterative development and continuous refinement based on user feedback and project objectives. Each concept underwent a process of design, testing, and modification to optimize its effectiveness and user experience.
Final presentation and deliverables
The peak of our project was a final presentation showcasing our refined concepts and strategic recommendations. While specific deliverables are subject to NDA, the presentation highlighted our comprehensive approach to rebranding and communication solutions for the Health Agency.
